Project Description - The addition of two floors onto the existing building structure required power distribution, lighting and communications design. The fire alarm system was expanded to accommodate the additional floors and a pre-action fire alarm system was installed in the IT room. A UPS system was installed in the IT room and a generator was located in the basement to accommodate the backup requirements for the IT room data rack requirements.
